The President of the Sierra Leone Swimming, Diving and Water Polo Association, Mohamed Turay has intimate this press on the swimmers readiness ahead of Commonwealth Games In Birmingham, England scheduled for this month and ends in August.
He said the swimmers have worked tirelessly to represent the Green White and Blue in the Games. Turay said: "We are optimistic of better representation, he said. He further thanked the government and NOCSL for their unflinching supports.
When asked what next for the association after the Commonwealth Games he said: “We are in readiness for FINA World Swimming Championships in Peru in August, the African Swimming Championships Tunisia in August, the CANA Junior Open Water Swimming Championships in Seychelleses, September and the Fina World Championships in Melbourne, Australia.
