The Sierra Peace Athletics Club (SPAC) will hold their first annual Inter Area Athletics Sports meet on Tuesday, “Dunkay Sally” at the Brima Atouga Mini Stadium complex, Cline Town.
Five communities are set to battle for the trophy they includes Kossoh Town (Green), Guard Street (Yellow), Cline Town (Red), Fourah Bay (Blue) and Mount Auroel (White).
The one day meet, according to the captain of SPAC, Saidu Tarawallie is to tap out young athletes from the respective communities.
He said there are other events that have been lined up for invited clubs from GYM School, Football and social clubs. He however called on sports fans to rally behind the club`s to achieve their long dream of Peace.
Events lined up are:
5000m (male), 1500m (female), 800m (male & female), 400m (male & female), Invitation relay qualifier, Eating race, Walking race, Tug of Peace, 200m (male & female), 100m (male & female), 4 x 400m (male & fenale), 4 x 100m ( male & female), and Invitation relay final.
