Hammer FC Inter Community gala at stake

By Martin Wusha Conteh 4th October 2013

The Chief Executive Officer of Hammer FC, Augustine Kamara aka `Hammer Time` has confirmed to this press that the club will coming up with an Inter Community gala schedule to for next month at the FTC College campus at Jui in Freetown.

According Hammer the competition will include premier, division and non division players. Asked why the competition; he replied; ``The competition is set up to foster the good relationship among the youths in the respective communities as football is the fastest means of brining divided nation together”.

He however said the competition will be followed by the 2013 U-14 competition schedule after the Inter Community gala. He said: “This country is blessed with good players but what normally affects them is their graduation to the senior team which is normally not properly handled, so as a club we are concentrating on young talents. The -14 competition will expose these young lads for the public to see and also serve as a platform for our local coaches to identify talents”.

He believed the competition will be governed by rules and regulations and all teams are expected to obey. He called on interested communities to contact the club officials at their usual training complex at Jui.
