Ahead of WAFU Cup Tournamnet…45 Home Based Players invited for training

The Technical team of the Sierra Leone home based side have invited 45 players for training ahead of the 3rd edition of WAFU Cup scheduled to commence on November 21st to 1st December 2013 in Accra, Ghana.

The tournament is solely for home based players and it aimed at giving training opportunities to teams preparing for the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) in South Africa, in January 2014.

The tournament will bring together eight (8) countries which will be divided into two (2) groups of four teams.

According to the Public Relations Officer & Marketing officer of the SLFA, John Konteh the reporting time is 8:00am at the football academy at Kingtom, adding that all players should report wearing white T- Shirts and Black Shorts.
