Mohamed Buyaka Turay Bags 8 goals in Juventus-Vasteras victory

By Martin Wusha Conteh 8th October 2013

Sierra Leone sensational striker, Mohamed Buyaka Turay, scored eight goals as his side Juventus Vasteras white-washed Athletic FC 12-2 at home in the final round of the Swedish Division 3 league on Sunday.

Buyaka Turay who completed five-day trials with Belgian top division side, Standard Liege, last week has caught the eye of top European clubs.

According to the head coach of Juventus Vasteras, Pertunaj, “This would be remembered for Mohamed Buyaka with eight astonishing goals in match, it`s absolutely incredible.

He said: “He`s phenomenal. Having played half the season with such astonishing goals is incredible. Moreover, he is only 18 years,” says Pertunaj about a young man from Sierra Leone.Buyaka Turay finished as top goal scorer with twenty goals (20) in his last seven league matches played.

When asked what about the lad’s chances in the future, Pertunaj replied, “I think most defenders in the Premier League would have a problem with him. He is so fast and so unpredictable. You do not really know where he's going to go. You have to kick him down to stop him and then it free kick or penalty.”

Speaking to this press via telephone, Mohamed Buyaka Turay said he`s delighted scoring eight goals in a single match. He said: “I could have scored more even when I dropped a penalty to Moses.”

“It was amazing and I want to thank God for giving me the strength in making my dream a reality."

While Standard Liege is hunting the hungry sensational striker, Allsvenskan side, Gefle, have also expressed interest in securing the lad’s signature. Juventus-Vasteras has given green light to Gefle and Turay will start training with the Allsvenskan side next week.

The18 -year-old has come as a hurricane, made 20 goals, won the top scorer - and been humbled by the whole trip.
