Sierra Leone’s U-20 women national team will play the “Flying Eagles” of Nigeria later this month in the placement race for the U-20 Women`s World Cup in Canada 2014. At the draw for the qualifiers conducted recently in Cairo, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) disclosed that the winners of the first round tie proceeds into the final qualifying round. Sierra Leone U-20 will be hosted by their Nigerian counterpart on the weekend of the 25th, 26th and 27th October and will play the second leg a fortnight later in Freetown on the weekend of the 8th,9th and 10th November 2013. Sierra Leone is yet to registered victory over their Nigerian counterpart in all CAF/FIFA organized tournament since the inception of the senior national female team in 1885. The following players are invited to training in preparation for the qualifiers and training will commence today Wednesday 9th October 2013 at 7:00 am at the Football Academy Kingtom. The Flying Eagles have won the African Youth Championship 6 times. BELOW ARE THE LIST OF INVITED PLAYERS
